I used this super quick frosting as a middle layer in my chocolate peanut butter cake and then mixed the remaining with some chocolate butter cream for the swirls of frosting below, but this can easily be doubled to ice a whole cake or a batch of chocolate cupcakes.
Peanut Butter Frosting
Makes approximately 1 cup
Prep Time: 5 minutes
1/4 cup peanut butterPrep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons milk
Directions:
- Cream together the butter, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
- Add the sugar one cup at a time, alternating with the milk.
- Whip on high speed 3-5 minutes until light and fluffy.
Chocolate and peanut butter, two of my favorites! This cake looks so yummy! Plan on making it next time we are in the same town :)
