Whether or not you buy into ghost stories, the Whaley House Tour is really interesting. The house, which has been amazingly maintained, is full of history of the family and the era. Even better the tour is conducted by a woman in a hoop skirt. Trolley tours and ghost tours of Old Town are also available.
There were plenty of restaurants to choose in Old Town. I had the best taco salad at Miguel's Cocina (I know, living on the edge) and the margaritas were even better!

This looks like a neat place to visit! That taco salad looks delicious!
